Will your insurance cover our visit?
If you have any of the following insurance plans:
Aetna- commercial plans, Meridian- commercial plans, Sutter Health, UHC- (commercial UHC plans as well as UMR, All Savers), Oxford Health Plan (and Surest), First Health- logo on card, First Choice Health- logo on card, Imagine Health- logo on card, Multiplan- Most PPO, must have multiplan logo, Velocity PPO- Velocity PPO logo PNAO- Most PPO plans, Card must have PNAO logo (see image below), and *Cigna (click the “Cigna Only” button)
sign up for a home, virtual, or office visit with me through this portal. I’m contracted with The Lactation Network (TLN) for the above insurance plans. If your insurance is accepted through them you will not receive a bill for services and can book multiple appointments with me at no cost to you. Using the TLN link on my site pre-matches you to me (Valerie Wiens) and my practice (Latch & Flow Lactation) as your provider. If you are uninsured, don’t see your insurance listed, or wish to self-pay and get a superbill for reimbursement please book directly using the links under the service descriptions below. *

Lactation Services
In-Home Visit
I come to you- 1.5 hr consult in your home plus follow up text and calls as needed
Within 7 mi radius of 98058 (Renton, Kent, Covington, Maple Valley, Tukwilla, SeaTac).
1.5 hr initial visit $275
1 hr followup visit $200
self pay or check insurance coverage (above) *
Every additional 5 mi out of radius + $30

I can provide a “superbill” for you to submit for reimbursement. The Affordable Care Act stipulates your insurance must cover lactation care. Office Visit or Virtual Visit
Visit my home office- 1.5 hr consult at my office plus follow up text and calls as needed

1.5 hour initial office consult $225
1 hour followup office consult $180

Prenatal Consult
Virtual or Office: $100 self pay or check insurance coverage (above)*
Prenatal preparation and education about what nursing your baby is going to be like is probably the most valuable thing you can do to avoid common issues! Also appropriate for discussing preparing for breastfeeding issues that may have arisen with previous babies. If desired I can also do a breast exam to check for any anatomy or breast development issues. I encourage partners and anyone involved in baby-care and/or care of the new mother to join these consults.
60 minute “what to expect” personalized consult. Virtual or at my home office in Renton WA. Home visits possible upon request.

After the tragic loss of your baby, your milk will still come in and there are things to consider and watch out for. Whether you wish to dry your milk supply up or keep it for a time to donate milk I’d be honored to help you with your lactation needs during this very heartbreaking time.
